The noodles were moist but springy, but lack of umami and wok hei flavours. Fresh prawns and squid were used. Overall their portion was more generous than what offered in other places.

3.5 stars. Owner was kind enough to serve me their last plate of Hokkien mee even though they are closing. $5 for a really large serving of fried noodles which was a bit too much for an average eater, maybe I got more noodles because they are closing? The noodles tasted really good on the first bite but the taste gradually became “flat” and the chilli didn’t help as it is a bit average and lacks the punch. Will definitely go back and try again during peak hour when the wok is hot to get the “wok hey” taste and update this review in the near future.

Find a good serving of noodles and seafood, including deshelled prawns, sotong and lean meat with pork lard. Its a 3.5 stars for me cause i felt the noodles could have been fried longer with prawn broth to give it that extra flavor punch.
